Mohamed Bin Salman is throwing everything he has into the Yemen battle.
He poured everything into the battle for Bab el-Mandab. It's not working.
He needs fighters, and specifically Salafis who are ideologically closer to the Kingdom.
This is where Syria comes in: al-Sharaa has an excess of Salafi fighters, especially foreign fighters.
It was reported that MBS had asked Ahmed al-Sharaa for fighters but he was turned down. Or did he?
Of course, none of this is possible without the agreement and support of Türkiye; or America's blessing.

And much of this very short report is devoted to presenting that government's account.
Saudi Arabia killed 7 Yemenis today, & wounded 40.
Notice the framing: Saudi Arabia isn't named. "Houthi-run health ministry" casts doubt on the toll, while Reuters gives the "internationally recognized government" its side.
If Ansarallah retaliates, expect much less ambiguity.
