ALT AHCCCS has launched KeepMyAHCCCS.com, a new website designed to help Arizonans understand the new federal Medicaid work requirements (also referred to as “community engagement” requirements) taking effect January 1, 2027.

ALT If you are an Arizona resident with a disability who receives Medicaid benefits through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), pay extra attention to your mailbox this September!

ALT AHCCCS will be sending an informational letter to approximately 418,000 members throughout the month.

ALT The letter provides an overview of new federal work or "community engagement" requirements that will affect certain adult members beginning in 2027. This letter is informational only. No action is required from you at this time.

ALT In-home care helps individuals who need assistance with daily activities while remaining in their own home. In-home care recipients usually are seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those who are recovering from an illness or surgery. Services provided by in-home caregivers depend on the individual's needs but can include cleaning, meal prep, dressing, running errands, and companionship. Caregiver visits can range from a few hours a day to around-the-clock care, making it more flexible than other alternatives.
