"I was watching the scene that Hudson was filming with François. I got a tap on the shoulder turned around and, Ilya Rozanov was standing there. Like, fixed necklace, tank top, Russian accent. I was like, "Oh my God." He was on the Today Show saying that I couldn't make eye contact with him, and he thought that that meant that I didn't think he was doing a good job or anything. That I just couldn't look directly at him. It was so weird.
[...] I was really touched that over the Summer, Connor read The Long Game and Role Model and was texting me how much he loved them. And he sent me a photo of himself crying."
