Doug Ford just pledged $1 million of Ontario money to repair Ukraine's energy grid 🤦🏻♂️
Announced September 24. Ukraine Energy Support Fund. He called it standing with freedom. Ontario already sent nearly $5 million in transformers and generators. Ottawa has put more than $26 billion into this war since it started.
A million is a rounding error next to that. It is not a rounding error on a hospital hallway, a housing wait list, or the hydro bill of the person paying for it.
A premier does not get a foreign-aid ministry because he likes the photo. Provincial tax dollars are for the province. If the grid in Ukraine is the priority, say what got cut at home to fund it.
No kickback story. No crime claim. Just the cheque, and the question he did not answer.
