➡️In a few days, Kigali will once again welcome the Africa CEO Forum, one of the continent’s most important platforms for public-private dialogue, investment, and deal-making. This year’s theme, “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership,” speaks directly to the moment Africa is in. Fragmented success is no longer enough. To compete globally, we must build larger markets, stronger value chains, deeper pools of capital, and companies with the ambition and capacity to operate across borders. For Rwanda, hosting the Forum reflects our ambition to serve as a gateway for investment, logistics, services, and innovation, the destination connecting global capital with African opportunity, and helping turn dialogue into action. We look forward to welcoming business leaders, investors, policymakers, and partners from across Africa and the world to Kigali on 14–15 May.

Today, MoYA, with @RwandaICT and @RDBrwanda, brought together creative-tech and monetization platforms, as well as creative entrepreneurs. The session is part of a broader effort to raise awareness on how creative works generate revenue, and how creators can better protect, track and monetize their work.

This morning at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) offices, President Kagame joined a meeting of the RDB Board of Directors. The meeting reviewed RDB’s priorities and ongoing efforts to accelerate private sector-led growth, attract and facilitate investment, promote exports and tourism, and strengthen Rwanda’s competitiveness. The President emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong focus on delivery, accountability and continuously improving the environment for businesses and investors to thrive.

The Butaro Dialogues is a biennial platform that brings together global health leaders, innovators, investors, policymakers, African academic institutions, and the next generation of health professionals in Rwanda to turn research and new ideas into better, more equitable healthcare.
