Fun fact: if you go to the 1m17s mark you'll catch Subaru say "Emi—" from Emilia before switching over to Rem, something that even the translators missed. He completely blocked out the possibility of something bad happening to Emilia so he projected his fear onto Rem instead.

This is one of my fav scenes in all Re:Zero. Seeing how much respect Subaru holds for his parents and watching him shut down Echidna for mocking and looking down on them was so satisfying to see. Shame the anime didn't emphasize it enough with his expression but atleast Manga did
