when we had our balloon launch last week, i had an important meeting at the same time and i told them i’m in hurry cause we have a launch and i have to leave asap. they said ok. later someone from that meeting told me that they thought i’m in hurry to go to eat lunch 😭

guys i did something super cool and now it’s over so i really need to do something way cooler to satisfy my soul 🫪

why do ppl go to these networking events. just go to sauna

i wish i could explain how fun it is to work and do projects in space industry. it’s a cold serious place. and then some of us show up with a pink payload and make memes while sitting in ground station

today we launched our pink antimatter detector to near space on a high altitude balloon. we’ve been working on this for more than a year and i was the team lead. this has been the experience of a life time and i wish i could do it everyday for the rest of my life. i can’t even begin to explain the fun, pressure, drama and joy. you just had to be there.

my friends are seriously discussing that roadster is fake and it’s not physically possible to do what it did :)

days like this i understand what joni mitchell meant when she said “so many things i would have done but clouds got in my way” our launch is delayed because of rain and snow 🌨️

i love it how me and the rest of the team asked for 10 day vacation from our work places just to go to sweden space center for our project and work double the amount we normally do. vacation my ass lol

i know all my friends say ppl should have boundaries and don’t overwork and don’t answer work email/calls when they are not working and in weekend etc etc. but there were many times our project was saved just because someone decided to pick up their phone on sunday at 8 am and help us. or someone didn’t close their lab at 4 pm and stayed till late night till we’re finished. i really appreciate ppl who do what they love. i hope we all get to do what we love 🪐
