If you didn't know, Jeff (HL) was part of the YZiLabs (Binance Labs back then) incubation season 1 cohort in 2018. 🤣
Unfortunately, that project failed. YZiLabs did not recoup any of its investment. It happens.
I did not interact with Jeff much back then. I forgot about it. I only learned this from Ella early this year.
I was suppose to have a call with Jeff a few months back, but I missed it due to a schedule error on my part.🙏 And we never had a chance to reschedule it.
YZiLabs, to the best of my knowledge, was not given and does not own any investments (equity or token) in HL.
Regardless, we support all builders! 🤝

It’s funny that redotpay never really reply anything in 2022-2023 for HR side so the rumours of running by part time without a CFO is probably real. Surprised they went so far to pre IPO
NEW: Binance affiliates are suing RedotPay's founders in Hong Kong, alleging they diverted more than 470,000 customers from Binance Card to a competing product in a "fraudulent scheme," Bloomberg reports.
Binance is reportedly seeking about $473 million in damages. RedotPay said it will "vigorously defend" the claims.

There were only 1 HR head left to pretend to handle hiring a year ago in BitMEX. None of the people are crypto native.
Specifically they were just hiring for replacement.
We all see it coming.

These idiots mismanaged over $50M of our money. Out of 8 borrowers - 2 are in default and 6 in restructuring. Basically money is gone.
1st time I deposited in Sep 2021, then 2 more times in 2022. It's been fucking five years and I still haven't got my money back in full (and never will), let alone the promised 10% APY.
Dashboard on their website says total loss rate is 20% but in reality its closer to 70% now. Since I requested the withdrawal in August 2023 I received only 30% of my money back. Best case scenario is I get another 10% over the next 1-2 years.
They hired a CRO with a $400k yearly salary who is posting updates twice per month in discord and thats about it. Occasionally they may request $50k - $150k for various other needs. All this money is being taken from the treasury of course.
CT doesn't know about it yet but Goldfinch is closing down soon. There is "wind down" announcement posted in discord, soon it will be public. Their official twitter page is run by a reply bot anyway so who cares anyway.
$GFI token is -99% and imo will be delisted sooner or later because project is dead.
Prime example of how fragile DeFi can be.

Protect users by listing projects with a future. Not based on short term transaction fees from short term hype. Real companies are trying to build. But the attention span in this industry is too short for that. Hence why digital assets is in the state that it is in. Be better. Once this industry moves away from being a casino the better off it will be.
