I know people are anxious to move on in Elbaph and get to the meat of the Imu stuff and progress, but this exploration of Zoro and Sanji is so layered and fascinating to me and so interesting psychologically - both individually and for the pair in tandem - that I really wouldn’t mind staying with them and hanging out there more. I don’t think we will be here for much longer but I wouldn’t mind at all if we were. It’s something I’ve been really wanting to be explored for AGES, especially for Zoro whose buildup for this stuff that been very subtextual. And with how vital the two are for the rest of the story, I just hope it continues to be a factor until the ending because it’s so totally prime character exploration.
