public trading challenge on fomo starts today. i will journal my thoughts on X every night with updated positions and thinking
currently down ~17k. My first goal is to claw back all my losses.

people love to philosophize about the casinofication of everything, but it's ironic to me that we are able to do so because we have acquired a decent amount of wealth
most of us working in tech, crypto, finance are in the upper end of the hierarchy of needs. it's easy for us to criticize this phenomenon. we don't worry about our average grocery bill or filling up a gas tank
from what i see, hear, and read, this new generation of young adults entering the workforce see everything getting more expensive, ai steadily automating away jobs, being unable to afford homes, etc.
and so with an increasingly bleak outlook, the conclusion many reach is that they might as well yolo into trying to jump up the social ladder
maybe it's just me, but i don't think it's right to criticize or pass some sort of moral judgement on this. are we judging the decision while understanding the choice?

while preparing for open on october 6th, i've gotten incredible insight into the apps that will soon go live on monad
apps with novel design/mechanisms, assets to trade, incentives, etc
this is coupled with increased institutional adoption of monad's network
all gas no brakes

trenchers, how the hell do you know when to add on to winners as opposed to take profit
i get that you don’t DCA into losing positions
but some of these tokens are a day old and in price discovery so it’s not like trading stocks where there’s some semblance of a fair valuation
