I have really high conviction that the form factor that will make robotics a natural way of life is through cute, relatable, friendly companions that "evolve" with you, recognize your moods, your history, your important relationships & moments.
When we met Raghu & team, what really stood out was their attention to excruciating detail on how the "robot x human" experience (RHX?) would feel like - and I want to stress on "feel" because if an assortment of plastic, metal and sand can evoke emotions in us, we have something important happening.
Simple things like the robo toy "sneezing" when someone is dusting nearby, or turn around to look at you when you call its name, or come running into the room when you say "story time!" -- this is an infinite scope problem as much in need of taste and experience design as it is about robotics / hardware &
