It sounds like the US has their D team going tonight against Canada. Apparently, we feel sorry for them.

Purdue is doodoo, but Illinois is proving they're even bigger doodoo. Disgraceful performance, grade school level play calling...they've basically destroyed 5 years of program building.

If Illinois doesn't fire their offensive coordinator after this, I'm not watching anymore this season. Everybody in the whole country knows that on 3rd and 4, he's going to run it up the middle for a one or two yard loss. Really? #illini

#illini Has a prevent defense ever kept the other team from scoring a touchdown. Like ever. I'm all for Illinois firing their OC and their DC...right now.

The President's Cup coverage is almost unwatchable between all the commercials and too many talkers, constant yap yap yap.

I'm continually amazed that the United States, with the best players on tour, are always awful in alternate shot. If it happened once in awhile, sure, but every single time? They're missing short putt after short putt. About all you can chalk it up to is choking under pressure.

Thru PGA history, regular tournaments have been played in Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago, Quad Cities, Minneapolis & Memphis. Several have been held in Texas. As of now, 2028 events in the MW & Texas...maybe the Memorial...that's it. The PGA has abandoned half the country @pgatour

It's almost as if Ohio State said "Okay boys, we have a 20-point lead going into the 4th quarter. Let's see if we can blow it." And lo and behold, they did.

I'm amazed at how many people don't realize that the clock shown on the screen on college football telecasts is not the official game clock, but one that networks present that they try to sync to the official clock. It can be very inaccurate. Hence, the uproar over Michigan-WM.

2 things can be true...We need data centers and AI to compete with China. Not building data centers would be a disaster for the country...and AI companies need to do a better job of working with communities and of explaining the benefits while reducing the impact on communities.

The Big 10 bringing in Rutgers just to get a foothold in the New York market may have been the worst decision they ever made.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, Wrigley Field in summer is a total joke. Williamsport would be tougher to hit a home run.

Does every professional sport have to destroy itself by changing everything about itself into something it's not, just for change sake.

So basically the Cardinals have decided that they're going to toast the bullpen for the remainder of the season to save a small handful of innings on Leahy, this with Pallante and Dobbins being injured as well.

Does anybody besides me find the Bet365 commercial that compares some lame guy in a yellow shirt winning a bet to anything a fighter pilot would do?

As a baseball statistic, WAR needs to be shredded into micro dust and flushed down the nearest toilet. It is the most useless stat ever created.

This miserable old goat has tried to keep the truth from Americans on several issues...the Epstein files, Dr. Fauci, Biden's health. Somehow, he has used his office to disgrace the citizens of Illinois for years. Please, just leave already. You're the poster child for term limits
Dr. Fauci deserves an apology for the way he was treated by my Republican colleagues.

The trade deadline should really be dull now. Only 2-3 teams have the remotest chance of competing with the Dodgers. Why make a trade for a rental at this point or even a controllable player, because this year's over and there won't be a 2027. Making a trade now would be stupid.

What all the Dodger/free-spending proponents won't admit is that if the Dodgers sign a big-time free agent & he gets hurt or sucks, they just go out and buy 2 more to replace him. If a small market team has that happened, they're fucked, not only for this year, but years to come.
