firm believer that as a man, you should settle bills away from table. whether something you want to cover or on a date, excuse yourself, go to washroom, and settle the bill. it’s even better if the restaurant or venue has your card on file already. zero friction, zero discussion, zero problems.

a good circle of friends / brothers is worth more than any money

we often times forget how blessed we are. we get caught up in what we don’t have, what went wrong, or what’s still missing, that we quietly overlook the quiet miracles already around us. life is abundant and i’m grateful.

checked my phone 1 time yesterday. new record. bored out of my mind but most productive day of my entire career. brain is constantly reaching for the low hanging fruit. If not twitter then instagram if not instagram then youtube if not youtube then strava if not strava then email if not email then text. sometimes I look at it. swipe around doing nothing. the swiping feels good. natural. then I paced. then became a beast at doing chores. then finally, the boring thing. the needle mover. prune apps. prune feeds. phone in another room. cut the low hanging fruit. doesnt need to be permanent, but watch what happens when you do. not only will you be more productive, but the things you used to love will be more enjoyable.

this is where i’ll take my future wife.
