Around internet
Day 1 of marketing my startup on Reddit. This is what the analytics look like before I’ve done anything. Starting today. No ads. No paid influencers. Just Reddit. Curious to see what this looks like in 7, 30, and 90 days. Let’s see if Reddit can actually move the needle.

This is what happens with some folk when they get a bit of success. 2 years ago Marc would probably have been stoked to have someone create content for him out of goodwill. Now, he uses it as an opportunity to throw shade.

someone gave miromiro 1 star for charging their advice: "think of a complex software which actually solves something complex and then charge" meanwhile that "simple" extension has made over $37k don't let people who were never your customers tell you how to build
spent most of the day at a chill barbecue, but still had to lock in for a bit 🍖 finishing the next MiroMiro update, all requested by AppSumo users: · export to Elementor · dark mode · floating panel anyone else working on a Sunday?

Asking money for vibe coded apps is ok then? 🤔 I like what this guy do, but this is harsh

It looks very AI-generated, and I would never watch the video if you hadn't tagged me. I appreciate you taking the time, Marianne!

damn i wish stuff like this existed when i was a student lol instead of building random projects just to learn, TinyFish is giving students real AI agent challenges to work on, rewards for shipping them, and something public to actually show afterwards tinyfish.ai/students this is a pretty cool way to get into building agents

I sat at $100 MRR for 6 months. today: $15k MRR. nothing viral happened. I just did 4 things, in this order: 1. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 talk to the people who didn't convert. talk to the people who churned. ask them why. whatever they tell you is what makes your offer worth paying for. 2. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 aim for at least 100 visitors/week you can repeat every week. mine was Reddit. helpful replies where people ask for tools like mine. 5 minutes a day got me 100+ visitors/week. 3. 𝗙𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 track 4 numbers: visitor → signup, signup → trial, trial → paid, churn. fix the worst one first. then repeat for the next one. if your funnel leaks, more traffic just means more disappointment. I went from $1k to $15k MRR just by improving my funnel, not stacking more channels. 4. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 once your funnel converts and retains well, now's the time to add more marketing channels. keep doing what already works. add new channels on top of it. --- do these 4 steps in order and I promise you'll no longer be stuck.

🚨 claude users!! YOU GUYS ARE LUCKY!!! I got this $20 Pro plan then set Opus 5.5 at Medium effort Then asked: "This is my product, create a 30 sec video... give me your best!" I was expecting to hit limits in 30 mins... NO!!! This is what it used: - 31.8 Million tokens - 54 mins of work!!! - 59% of 5h limit consumed!!! (8% weekly) MEANING!! You'll get around 1.5 Billion tokens for Opus 5.5 AND that's roughly $1,000+ worth of API usage!! (per month!) Look at the output!!! I LOVE IT!!! I ain't going back to codex... nothing can convince me now!!!

Already tested @superx_so, trial cancelled, no affiliate. Honest verdict: What worked for me: • "Trending in your niche" gave me 2 angles I wouldn't have found. • Reply from a pasted link, no tab switching. What didn't: • Feeds only shows people I already follow. Zero discovery. • Signals matched "ASO" to fantasy baseball writers and the White House press pool, huge mistake. • AI drafts had my account numbers wrong and invented free tier limits. The growth still came from the same place: 40+ manual replies a day. No tool does that for you. Worth $49/mo? Not for me. Maybe if Signals finds real leads for your SaaS. It didn't for mine.
Been offline last week from X for 3 days and my impressions dropped 62%. Ouch. So I've just started an experiment: 3-day trial of @superx_so, squeezing every feature and coming back to you with honest feedback, let's see if you guys can convert this trial to a real sub @robj3d3 @tibo_maker Baseline (last 7 days): 100K impressions, 1.9% engagement, 409 profile visits. Will post the numbers on day 3. No affiliate, just curious if these tools actually move anything.

A software engineer? How many projects have you completed without any AI? How many languages do you know well enough create these programs yourself?
