While definitely not the first to call out the scare story, our joint report with @TaxJusticeUK and @PatMillsUK two months ago thoroughly debunked the unreliable figures behind the exodus claims that had been circulated in nearly 11,000 news articles.
Just 0.2% of all millionaires moved to another country in 2024, but news outlets around the world spun this into a “millionaire exodus”.
11,000 news pieces were published in 2024 about an exodus that did not exist.
