What hits me about the Lesbian Bar is that the outrage weirdos aren't protesting bars without mask mandates. They antagonize and abuse this particular bar owner bc they can access her and bc she cares. They are sending a message that no one should ever even try to appease them.

"If that violation results in the possibility of millions of people dying, do you think that's really terribly radical?" @BernieSanders told me.
The penalties would be similar to those found guilty of “unlawfully developing nuclear weapons.”

I'm currently reading blood in the machine by @bcmerchant and the history of the luddites is very interesting!
I think if AI was not purported to be the cause of people losing jobs then it would be different since it's not like people didn't accept tech that helped their work without making them lose their jobs.
