I know it's going to be tough to get through to you after years of indulging your manufactured comfort reality, but here is the thing: Trump used the Presidency to serve his own personal interests. The first thing you agree to when taking public office is not to do that.

I'm really struggling to put this in a way that even you might be able to understand: using public office to serve your own interests = the clearest demonstration that you cannot be entrusted with the power of that office. Removal with extreme prejudice is the correct response.

It is extremely normal for criminal investigations to not take place in full public view. If you disagree, you don't know the first thing about police work.
You are confusing preliminary investigation with an actual impeachment trial. We are not yet at the latter stage.
