Can we PLEASE normalize just hanging out at each other’s houses again? Why does every friendship meetup need to be a whole production, a restaurant reservation, and a $150 bill? I just want to sit on your couch, drink something, and talk for hours.

Younger adults learned to socialize in coffee shops, reataurants and lounges. The reason? Housing costs. Gone are the days when you could rent your first place in your late teens or early 20s. Now, most have to live with parents. So, visiting means spending $ outside the home.

A reason why so many women love doing barre and Pilates and are willing to pay a premium to exercise in that environment is that the studio is almost entirely devoid of the type of man who would call you a whore for wearing a workout outfit..
