I was always interested in trying out the Octatrack but never pulled trigger. But watching @jonwayne’s channel made me a believer in using it for hip-hop. Very glad I did-it’s probably the most fun I’ve had with any machine I’ve ever used. And its difficulty is overstated.

Sometimes I get in this thought loop where I think I should be consistent in the kind of music I make. Because if I’m not I won’t be able to build and maintain an audience. Then I remember that I make art for myself and I should do whatever the fuck I want.
