And like so much of what influencers label "autistic", if you've somehow never perseverated over a conversation later then that's...pretty fuckin weird. Have said before if you tally up all the "neurotypical" characterstics you get someone who can easily qualify as autistic.

I didn’t enjoy watching or listening to this but one of the most beautiful things about dedicating your adulthood to creative work is that it humbles you into accepting you’re in basically the same fight as ppl whose stuff you really dislike and you learn to respect their effort.

Early on, I would judge people for bombing at open mics and then, to my great surprise, get up there and suck just as much. Maybe this is uniquely true of standup, but you really learn not to dismiss ppl. So many go from awful to amazing and watching that happen is very cool.
