It only needs a few crazy ones to fix a continent… Let's be crazy… I got something to announce:
We're launching PROTOTYPE: a new fund, fully focused on Europe.
A small fund that punches way above it's size.
With it we back what Europe is world-class at: robotics, automation, manufacturing, and anything that requires hard engineering.
First check. First round. As early as it gets.
Europe invented industry. We're the birthplace of precision manufacturing. The second largest manufacturing hub on the planet. Leaders in automation and robotics.
And yet…
We sell out our best tech to China. We export our best founders & most of our investment money to the US. That's insanity.
What should we do instead?
Build the next trillion euro companies in robotics, manufacturing, automation right here: in Europe. Showcase to young founders what is possible and change the system around them where needed.
What we will do:

→ Launch & support more projects like @euinc_petition. Enough talking about Europe. Time to build it: Startups, makerspaces, student clubs, and much more.
→ And most importantly, invest into the best founders in Europe. Same model as our previous funds that are in their top 1-5% cohorts worldwide.
We won’t do a VC fund in the classic sense.
This will be a community of hyper-ambitious people who want to actively change Europe for the better.

About one year ago I made a video with the core argument that modern war is closer to how startups work than how classic industrial complex works.
It's scary how this simple fact still hasn't fully landed with most policy makers in the wider west.
It's fast iteration cycles and quick data-based feedback cycles from the direct front-line (see thread)
Imho Europe/EU needs Ukraine more than the other way round.
They already produce more drones than China and are capable of doing full sovereign sourcing (not at scale but at least doable, if ever needed).
Next up we are seeing autonomy, swarms, and ground drones that act below jamming cones.
This isn't slowing down until Putin gives up on his ego-dreams.
Ukraine links every drone, sensor and weapon through Delta, giving troops one live battlefield map. Pilots pin Russian soldiers and vehicles; nearby units respond.

Twitter does zero spam, scam or astroturfing filtering.
I bet if russian or chinese astroturfers would say something elon musk would disagree with, the astroturfing/spam problem would be fixed in a week.

The astroturfing on this platform is of such a low quality its embarassing. On reddit you actually need to put effort in to scale your efforts. Here apparently nothing.
This platform would have the tightest fingerprinting and graph pattern analysis if the shit this networks post would not align with Musk's political worldview.

Anna is Ukrainian, lives in US and thinks Russia is not the enemy. She retweets someone from the Dutch/Russian political party FvD. But in reality Anna is Nigerian, there are millions of such accounts.

We’re launching the Army of Robots.
In 2022, we launched the Army of Drones. Today, drones account for over 95% of battlefield strikes, and Ukraine has more than 700 UAV manufacturers.
Now we need the next technological breakthrough: the robotization of warfare.
The goal is simple — save lives. Robots should take on the most dangerous missions: evacuating the wounded, delivering ammunition, mining and demining, reconnaissance, defending positions and engaging targets.
The Army of Robots is not one company. It’s an ecosystem. We will invest in defense tech companies, launch our own technology projects, test them with the military and scale what works on the battlefield.
We’re now looking for defense tech companies and engineers working on robotic technologies — as well as a CTO / Tech Lead for the Army of Robots.

Yesterday in Vienna our Demo Night was special!
We had amazing demos and so many people joined, in an ecosystem that is super fragmented.
I am very bullish of what is about to be built here thanks to initiatives like the @TUWRoboticsClub.
For hiring this was always a gem but for creating new companies and communities it is just becoming that.
I am happy to have hosted here together with @paulkroeger @TUWRoboticsClub and @anna_strumpel

It's also that the quality of the astroturfing is absurdly low – so i assume a lot of new providers. Tons of rando-anon new accounts really half-assing it.
Keep in mind that X seems to be doing barely anything to hold astroturfers back. So you shouldn't expect deep seeding or long warming up like in reddit.
