Wallstreet Journal Article Restorative Justice will bring Violent Schools matches my experience with RJ. I'm sure someone will say that's not true RJ and it feels like arguing with a marxist. A whole staff of people committed to doing RJ for years.

I really need to come up with a way to say this aloud in class but internalized facts are your bullshit filter is really, really good.
My students sometimes ask why they should memorise things in the age of Google and LLMs. But internalised facts are your bullshit filters and your raw material for creative association. Facts outside your head are inert.

Curious if parents will be opting out of religious texts in Texas. The vast majority of my students were non-Christian and jw students opt out of stuff all the time.
You could pretty easily make it unworkable as a unit in a class that’s like 80-90 percent other religions.
