“People work hard for a living, and they don’t want to be lectured by people who live in mansions and drive Rolls-Royces. It’s time to shut up.”
He never lectured the crowd. He sold them the merch, licensed the catalog, and cashed the checks. Staying out of the sermon business paid off. The tongue stayed in the business. The opinions stayed home.
The same people telling you capitalism is evil and socialism is good made every dollar they have from capitalism. The mansion was not built by a committee. The Rolls did not come from a bread line. They want the system that made them rich dismantled for you, while their money stays parked in the system that paid them.
Three reasons they should shut up:
1. You pretend to be other people for a living. Reading lines does not make you an expert on wars, tariffs, or the price of eggs.
2. Nobody bought the ticket for a lecture. The second you wag the finger, the customer becomes the enemy.
3. You trash the system that paid for the gates, the jet, and the staff, then tell the guy changing your oil he should settle for less. You don’t feel the policy. You just feel superior.

Here’s another good example of why I’m tired of entertainers thinking being famous makes them political activists we’re supposed to listen to.
Mark Ruffalo and Robert De Niro are great actors. I’ve watched both of them for years. But I couldn’t care less who either one thinks I should vote for.
Ruffalo is threatening to “Hulk out,” and De Niro is screaming obscenities about Trump at a political rally.
These guys live in a completely different world than most of us, yet somehow they think we need a lecture from them about how the country should be run.
We don’t.
You’re actors. Being famous doesn’t make you smarter than the rest of us, and it sure as hell doesn’t make your vote more important than mine.
Make great movies. Entertain us.
I can figure out who to vote for all by myself.

Rob faced this man head on at the SNL 50th anniversary. He looked at Rob with that smug tough guy look. Told him “how could you support a schmuck like Trump”. Rob looked him in the eye and said “I love you man!”. That took guts!
It is truly sad that this award winning actor can’t defend even one of the
Democrat policies that made Americans vote overwhelmingly against them;
Open borders that caused American citizen deaths and hundreds of thousands of missing children, parents at school board meetings investigated for domestic terrorism,’ firing workers for not taking an experimental gene therapy, boys endangering girls in sports, locker rooms and bathrooms, flying illegal immigrant Haitians into Ohio in the middle of the night, allowing Somalians to steal from American Taxpayers and doing nothing to stop it- To name just a few.
Not one of these indefensible policies is ever discussed or defended.
Just nonsensical utterings and angry outbursts with the foul language of thuggery.
There is a degradation in our culture and the lack of trying to understand why Americans chose to Vote Republican is what needs addressing and a Democratic Party that needs to reassess itself, is needed, not vulgarity.
