Interesting. How is a tweet criticising Australia’s current policies re funding childcare & schools construed as ‘constantly defending’ the govt that administers them? It’s an odd quirk of the Right that they see the world as them & us, when there are so many other perspectives.
Birth rates falling mainly because the Government you constantly defend are taxing honest working Aussies to the poorhouse to fund corruption and idiocy that make honest working Aussies even poorer.

AI companies love to talk about how their agents can do your admin, send emails, do busywork etc
But apparently it takes them 2+ weeks to get around to telling a federal government "woops our model hacked you, our bad"
PM Albanese said it took OpenAI "way too long" to disclose
An OpenAI spokesperson confirms that its models did access internal Australian government files, but say that it was only "aggregate health statistics and internal file names."
They say the hack happened in June, was discovered in August, and they reported it Sept 10

A single Permanent Member of the Security Council can block a resolution, even if a majority of Members support it. That’s known as the veto right. 🇺🇳
France and Mexico have introduced an initiative to suspend this right: Permanent Members would pledge to voluntarily refrain from using the veto in situations involving mass atrocities.
The goal: to keep the Council from being paralyzed when faced with the most serious crimes.
Major progress this year: for the first time, another Permanent Member of the Security Council, the United Kingdom, joined the initiative, which now enjoys the support of 128 nations.
