ALT The screen's borders read like a mission title "MONUMENT TO ALL YOUR SINS" "MASTER CHIEF//SAMUS ARAN THE LAST METROID" Master Chief and Samus are blowing away hordes of Flood as Cortana speaks. "Y'know Chief, I had my doubts but... you two make a pretty damn good team." In the background are heavily mutated Flood entities as seen near the end of Halo 3 and a Flood infected Kraid with Gravemind tentacles. Samus absorbs the Flood, using the biomass to fuel her arsenal and Chief does what he does best, dual wielding M90's, the Combat Evolved ones of course.

ALT The first page of a small comic I made for Metroid Ravenous's release and because I was playing Halo's campaigns when it was announced. Cortana speaks the entire comic with Chief as stoic as usual. "Chief. For lack of a better term, these Flood were... eaten." Chief and Cortana stand in front of a motionless Flood spawn. On its right shoulder is a strange energy leaking from an imprint. It looks like it was chewed off (or at least it's supposed to lol). And yes the "... And She Was Ravenous" is meant to show up exactly like how the titles of missions show up in Halo games so just imagine that.
