🎮 @gamescom 2026 what a week! #throwback 🧬 We had the opportunity to visit Gamescom in Köln 🇩🇪 and disuss what we’ve been building with industry experts. What made the experience especially rewarding wasn’t just being there, but hearing the feedback from people with years of experience in the gaming, 3D development, Unreal Engine and immersive experience about what we’ve achieved within a relatively short timeframe and with a very limited budget in comparison to colleagues and competitors. The compliments regarding the foundation, quality, and potential of what we’ve built were honestly amazing to hear and incredibly satisfying. Building something from the ground up always comes with challenges, compromises, and countless hours of work behind the scenes. So having experienced people from the industry recognize the quality of that foundation is a huge validation for the entire team. We still have a long way to go, but Gamescom gave us an exciting reminder of how far we’ve already come. 🚀 Proud of what we’ve built. We know it has been quiet... Over the past period, the team has been working behind the scenes, taking a step back, learning, experimenting with new technologies, including AI, and rethinking how we build and operate xSPECTAR going forward 🧬 We have also been using this time to reorganise, restructure and put the foundations in place for the next phase. We don’t want to make promises simply for the sake of making announcements. We would rather take the time to do things properly and come back with something meaningful. None of these are isolated features. They’re pieces of a much bigger puzzle. Our goal isn’t to build another metaverse. Our goal is to build a platform where anyone—from creators and educators to businesses and communities—can create, publish, discover, and grow with as little friction as possible. Each component depends on the others. That’s why progress isn’t always visible from the outside. A huge amount of time goes into research, architecture, experimentation, iteration, and integration before anything is ready to ship. The exciting part? These separate building blocks are beginning to come together. Q4 is where you’ll start seeing the bigger picture. One step at a time. One system at a time. One ecosystem.

Taking a step back from the day-to-day noise of Web3 has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ve never been more energized. I've spent this time reorganising, restructuring, and building the right foundations for the future. Real progress rarely happens in public. Nothing to announce today. Just heads down, executing. The results will speak for themselves.

This is not a breakup tweet. I’m not standing alone in the rain. Figge and I are still grabbing breakfast next Friday in LA. I fully believe in the Club, Otherside, ApeChain, and ApeCoin. I fully believe in Figge. I’m proud of what we built at ApeCo. I’m more proud of the people that made ApeCo hum. They deserve all the flowers. What’s next for me? so let me get this straight in the last cycle people didn’t know whether or not launching a token would be totally chill or would be totally jail because the SEC wasn’t willing to establish modern rules so to be safe don’t launch a fungible token in a US jurisdiction get really good lawyers who will tell you how to navigate a mission impossible laser room of jurisdictions so you don’t get in trouble with your little coin then someone you don’t know and will never meet will launch your token’s smart contract in BVI or Panama or wherever it’s chill to do that so ‘you’ didn’t launch it for tax purposes the token will get appraised at de minimis so you don’t get fucked on taxes with a fortune of phantom income at tge treasury is managed off-shore by a ‘Foundation’ put a DAO in front to advise the Foundation on how to distribute a token by voting on different proposals people organize beauracratize and participate in a pure democracy where the richest people have the most votes and winners get free money? but at least that’s a reason to buy the token builders try really hard get disillusioned by proposals get scorned by other participants get blamed when its not working pitchforks dissolve dao but then rich people holding tokies to control the ballot have no reason to hold market sell price down only everyone jaded all because navigating a grey zone legal landscape from washington beaureaucrats who didn’t want to set a clear policy tokie ATL but now new leadership is autistic at simplifying and thinks a bunch of shit doesn’t make sense and is going to tear down and rebuild and streamline everything until its coherent did I get that right?
