Grief is such a strange thing. I've never really experienced it for someone so close. My grandads passed away in Yemen, but they were old and felt it was their time.

A beautiful being, a beautiful example of a muslim, a friend, sister, daughter, mother. She reminds me how to truly live with love, mercy and meaning, and how near death really is. She taught me so much while alive and even in her passing, I’m still learning from her.

What a blessing it is to hear الف لام ميم in the masjid for taraweeh, Allah gave each and every one of us individually a chance to witness ramadan again the holy month is here and so are we الحمدلله

I feel like social media now is just so out of touch with reality why do you have a camera recording you waking up why are you telling your kids what to do for camera, why am i in your bedroom looking at you both cuddling why am i in the living room watching your kids and dog????
