Stern, die eine Humboldt-Professur innehat, glaubt, die Forschungsfreiheit könnte das entscheiden. Schon heute sei es einfacher, hierzulande ein Projekt durchzubekommen, als in den USA. Allerdings müsste sich an den Unis und in der Forschungsverwaltung noch einiges tun.
