I’ve been involved in crypto since 2017 and NFTs since 2020.
My solana:BPxxfRCXkUVhig4HS1Lh7kZqV6SPJhzfEk4x6fVBjPCy airdrop is the only one that has shown an upward trend. It’s seen over a 10x gain in five months, whereas all the other airdrops I’ve received over the years were things you had to sell off quickly before they died out.
And you know what? Believe it or not, that upward trajectory is exactly what the @Backpack team has aimed for since day one of the TGE.
They ignored the FUD, the foolish demands to pump the price through marketing right from the start, and all the shortcuts some people wanted them to take.
I can even quote @armaniferrante : "If you judge the token's value after a few days rather than a few months, you haven't understood our strategy."

I find it very interesting that despite the overwhelming adoption of EVM by major fintechs/CEXs via their Earn programs and their own L2s (Coinbase, Robinhood, Kraken, etc) and Solana not having a similar major distribution channel/frontend with a large customer base, Solana’s market share for stablecoin lending deposits has been in a multi-year uptrend against the combined Ethereum + L2 universe.
What happens to this chart when Solana finds its anchor fintech/TradFi partner in the US? 📈

Tokenizing the same stock does not mean getting the same market structure.

The best part about @Backpack's stock token model is that any brokerage user can mint and redeem the tokens themselves.
This makes it much easier for anyone to run the arb between shares/tokens and bring inventory onchain when needed to keep prices in line.

this is eerily similar to the sol vs eth trade last cycle where eth had infinitely more TVL than solana yet the volume of said TVL on solana was much higher.
we then proceeded to giga send sol while eth barely moved up.
ondo has more assets issued, yet backpack has 4x more volume on their assets.
meanwhile $BP is 90% cheaper.
this is a nice setup.
