Start holding those company principals criminally liable for this WILDLY artificial valuation, and everything can thereby still ratchet itself back down to sanity over the next year and thereby avoid the otherwise inevitable crash. 3) pass federal legislation stating that there will NEVER again be a "too big to fail" bailout. EVER. The taxpayers will NEVER again be forced at gunpoint to save companies/banks that have acted irresponsibly, and principals THEMSELVES will be held criminally and civilly liable for ALL the damage they cause in a crash. We need TEETH in holding these companies AND their principals ENTIRELY liable for their decisions that affect us all. THAT sort of oversight is both constitutional and necessary. Regulating "code" is absurd and won't work. I am actually an expert on this subject, having been the president of a very successful enterprise-grade company for decades and a systems architect myself. I also did heavy AI research before there was such a thing as the "AI" we know of today. Regulation needs to take an entirely different tack (as outlined above) than what posturing politicians are talking about.
