KOC is overrated. Sam has gotten better since he left there and was in SF before there. What other QBs have gotten better under him? Brian Flores defense has carried that team for the most part.

McCarthy cannot read defenses as a tough flat quarterback needs to, look back at his film at Michigan and his early career Minnesota. Doesn’t mean he can’t get better, but actually he does it consistently. He’ll never be a starter.

It’s funny. If you go over to Vikings Twitter, while you won’t find their fans pounding the table that JJ was good, they still seem upset to give up on him so early. Yeah he may never pan out as an NFL starter but he was probably the highest upside QB you could bring in right now
