pure unadulterated raw shonen, holy FUCK. I genuinely have no words, this may easily have been BC's strongest episode yet. The sheer drawing power, timing and snappiness of the fight, the raw hand-to-hand combat. Hiroyuki Yamashita, you are simply unreal.

Thread: Black Clover 2nd Season #05
Probably the best episode of Black Clover ever...
Pure shonen energy, incredible direction, storyboard, animation, animation supervision, music, background compositing... I still can't find words to describe it, but I'll do my best 👇

Tribute to "The Game" (David Fincher) by French animator Robinson Drossos.
Produced for Arte (a French/German TV channel), which regularly commissions this kind of 1-minute animation (they call them "Short Cuts") to accompany their film broadcasts.

Absolutely breathtaking how this artistic masterpiece was made! Pure human craft, soul and love. Please go watch Wildwood and support human made art ❤️
"Wildwood" took nearly 15 years to make, with 231 puppets and 136 sets, making it the longest stop motion film ever made.

Please go see Wildwood! This is a true love letter to art, technology and innovation combined. This story is not for younger audiences, don't let the "animation is for children" misconception blind you. This is a dark tale with a powerful message. Incredibly epic and emotional ❤️
