CPS3 cartridges with dead batteries cannot be restored. Capcom stopped supporting battery replacement and cartridge repair in 2018. capcom.co.jp/arcade/news/ope… I am sorry to tell you that, yes, more than a few Japanese Arcades are using hacked BIOS to run CPS3 games.

さっきタイムラインで日本のゲームセンターはストⅢ3rd基板を◯ークソフト（海賊版のやつ）で運用している。セキュリティ飛ぶしもうメーカー修理できないからだ（＝いまゲーセンにあるのは海賊版、お前ら日本人も海賊版使ってんじゃねーか）ってトンデモ理論を言ってるフォロワー3万の海外アカウントがいてひっくり返ったｗ　ちゃんとオリジナルのソフトを復元修理してるところあるのに。さすがに◯ークソフト運用は聞いたことねぇけどなぁｗ

Installed forbidden Appalachian technology into my SNES. Overall wasn't too bad, but using the wrong kind of wire for the RGB bypass made it harder than it needed to be. Folding the ribbon might've taken the most time outside of that 😂 Testing it tonight!
