I promise you: nobody is lying about their favorite albums in order to impress you. That has never happened and it will continue to never happen for the remainder of time
“The 9 albums that defined me” so you just came out of the womb listening to Elliott Smith and Brian Eno??? Where is the embarrassing stuff

Your taste in art will grow and change with you. Is my favorite album still going to be Black Messiah when I’m 40? I have no idea. There’s probably music that will come to define me in the future that hasn’t even been released yet. I think that’s exciting!

I hate this pop cultural myth that your taste becomes set in amber like a prehistoric mosquito after you turn 18. That’s a social phenomenon, and it’s easy to break the cycle. You can, at any point in your life, choose to get curious again

It’s cool and relatively unsurprising that I’m Tom Waits’ strongest soldier now that I’m 32, but that shit was wicked alienating when I was 13. I do it for the love of the game, but it’s nice when my bullshit taste in art is vindicated with time

I understand if someone doesn’t like cooking or if they just don’t want to do it, but it’s ridiculous how many people on here try to pretend like cooking your own meals is this arcane art that’s prohibitively expensive. Just be honest!

I think what a lot of people who claim that cooking at home is as expensive as easting out really mean is that they don’t want to eat leftovers. Which is understandable, I guess, but grow up. I love eating leftovers because my leftovers taste good

At least, I go to the cinema a regular amount compared to my mutuals on here. I go to the movies more than most of my friends, but I can’t keep up with most of you fine folks

You could easily learn to season your food. It’s free and there’s nothing stopping you from doing it.
I agree with this. The people who keep screaming that it’s “cheaper” eat the same depressing, boring food, day after day. I’m not making chicken and rice and sandwiches and stew for weeks on end. Sure, that would be “cheaper” in the long run. But you’re eating like a dog.

You already have salt. Just add a little more. Taste your food to see if it tastes good, that’s what “to taste” means. You live in a prison of your own making

No I don’t, you idiot. You rube. I stick everything in the WASHER. Some of my pants need to air dry because the tag said so
I have a feeling men who say laundry is easy stick everything in the dryer
