"If we're still the same football team three weeks from now, I think we are letting ourselves down." Zach Ertz and the #Eagles preaching continued improvement as they work to find some sense of rhythm early in the season. More from the postgame locker room @NBCSPhilly

"We have to be a little bit sharper, a little bit tighter." Jeremiah Trotter Jr has the most total tackles out of any #Eagles defender all season with 15 tackles and one pass deflected in this Rams game. His first real start besides week 18 matchups - Trotter says he still has some things to clean up in the loss.

Zach Ertz didn’t want to comment about Lane Johnson missing this game for personal reasons. Said he didn’t know what was going on and to change the subject. Overall, a sense of worry and hoping everything is okay with the players we spoke to about Lane.

Saquon Barkley left the Linc right as the game ended with his family. Was able to walk perfectly normal. Left the game in the first half with a right hamstring injury.

RB Tank Bigsby heading to the locker room with three minutes remaining in the game - was able to walk off on his own into the tunnel.

Darius Cooper with absurd ball control to stick with this catch and come down with the touchdown. We’ve seen this Hurts 🤝 Cooper connection since the start of training camp.

"You know we have Wicks...right?" That is the message I received from the locker room when I asked the #Eagles how they were going to overcome DeVonta Smith not playing in this Rams matchup. More on why the Eagles think Dontayvion Wicks has WR1 potential on @NBCSPhilly Eagles Pregame Live -

Markel Bell takes the field for pregame warmups - this would be Bell’s first career start if he has to play for Lane Johnson

Look for Markel Bell to start at tackle if Lane can’t go - the Eagles are already down Fred Johnson as a tackle replacement who is also out for this game

The Eagles have been flirting with this loss since the start of the season. I knew the #Eagles defense was going to struggle because they haven't looked right since week one. I didn't expect Case Keenum to look like Joe Montana.
