There are some journeys that begin with an idea. This one became a part of my life. The Bharat Collection has taken me across centuries of history, legend, faith, culture, science, spirituality, politics, philosophy, and mystery. Every book demanded years of research, countless revisions, moments of self-doubt, and the unwavering belief that stories rooted in Bharat’s extraordinary past could resonate with readers everywhere. When I began this journey, I could never have imagined where it would lead. Today, as I look at these eight books together, I don’t just see novels—I see years of learning, discovery, and an incredible community of readers who have embraced every twist, every puzzle, and every adventure. Your messages, reviews, recommendations, photographs, and conversations have given these stories a life far beyond the pages. Every time one of you tells me that a book made you look at India differently, sparked your curiosity, or simply kept you turning the pages late into the night, I am reminded why I write. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for walking this path with me. Your faith in my stories has been the greatest reward an author could ever hope for. Here’s to the journey so far... and to many more stories waiting to be told.

Was honoured to receive the Dr S.L. Bhyrappa award for historical fiction at the Annual History Awards ceremony for my novel Chola Tigers.
The award was presented by the Hon Union Minister of Finance Smt Nirmala Sitharaman ji and organised by Dr Vikram Sampath.

One of the most masterful & truly moving lectures I've listened to. Smt @nsitharaman was at her articulate best while delivering the 1st Dr @SLBhyrappa Memorial Lecture today organised by @fihcr_info in New Delhi.
Referencing his greatest works including Bhitti, Parva, Vamshavriksha, Grihabhanga, Daatu, Avarana she traced the history of boxing & blocking of ideologies inimical to the dominant one, in historiography or indian languages such as Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam. She made a poignant analogy of the samudra manthan or churn of ideas, drawing the metaphor of actors coming to a stage from left & right, finally prescribing that none should be censored & all must flourish, if democracy has to survive in it's truest sense; if satya & soundarya - truth & beauty need to flower, as Bhyrappa desired.
Can't thank you enough ma'am for this delightful & educative speech - one that will remain in my memory for a long time, as I'm sure of all who heard you today
