i am very unsure of how my 2ish years of full-time poker are going to transfer to trading just took an internship with a family office that has a trading arm, they're paying me $230/hr for a month kind of a weird move from me given i've made ~$170k this year playing not many hours of poker, nor have i ever traded before - im a financial fish that just puts money in index funds the opportunity came up super randomly, the founder watches my yt poker vlogs im sure some ppl here know him he reached out to me via dm & basically said "ur earnings in poker are capped. u should get into trading" was super sus about it but he's pretty big in the space on X so i took a call w him he convinced me guess they wanted someone who’s coming in on a clean slate & see how long it takes to train someone from legit 0 -> competent today was my first real day, in way over my head, will see how this goes and keep reporting back here with learnings / P&L gl us?
