Atom has adopted RFC 10023, the new DNS standard for signaling that a registered domain is for sale. AI agents and domain tools can now see that an eligible Atom listing is for sale, and where to buy it, straight from DNS. No scraping landers. No setup for sellers. This is the part that matters. If (for sale) lives in DNS agents do not need the lander, the marketplace page, or a scrape. The listing becomes a record, not a website. Sellers who already have clean names on Atom just got distribution they did not have to build.

Machine-readable DNS listings could make agent commerce less dependent on brittle scraping.
