New on WatchTheNet: BGP data + replay, overlaid on our active probe data 🎥 Here's a demo video of today's Iraq country wide outage due to exam shutdown visualized. Pretty neat to watch BGP path hunting before it runs out of options and the networks drop offline.

Verizon (fka Frontier, AS5650) having a rough morning in Ohio & West Virginia. as of 14:38 UTC towns like Bunker Hill & Augusta plus Carrollton, Plain City and Logan OH dropped 70–100%. BGP didn't budge, but traffic isn't getting through. Still ongoing.

Update: Verizon/Frontier (AS5650) back in Ohio & West Virginia. Both states went down within ~3 min of each other (14:38–14:41 UTC) and came back together (15:31–15:33). Guess it's one shared failure inside Frontier's network.

Guyana 🇬🇾 is mostly offline now. Guyana telecom (AS19863), the country's biggest ISP, went dark at 19:09 UTC and pulled ~90% of Guyana's internet with it. Routes vanished from BGP the same minute. Still down 1h+ later.
