On Tuesday, the Election Commission said all was well:
The 14 objections by two of its three members were "suggestions," every decision was "unanimous."
With in 48 hours, on Saturday, it issued NINE decisions. Read them against the 14 notes. It's a U-TURN, not in what it says, but in what it does.
And it still leaves some hard Qs unanswered.

So does the EC accept there were issues regarding Form 6, and thus the SIR?! What happens now to the voters who got left out and thus couldn't exercise their democratic rights in the several crucial elections that happened after 2025?!
Finally, ECI’s full commission met today at 3 PM.
1. During non-SIR period, old Form 6 will be used.
2. A Committee headed by Sr Dy EC including an expert from IIT /IIIT will review ECINET.
3. To help electors whose names have been removed in the SIR exercise, ECI will launch a special drive to enrol their names.

This is the biggest issue young India who have reached the highest strata of education faces. Lots of PhDs - very limited placement. Hopefully, venues such as @RiseIISER will seed new opportunities for our PhDs. Let's see. Time will tell!

A disciplinary committee sits, and the student gets zero in the exam if cheating is proven. If as a result they fail, a supple awaits. #6/n

In my 8 years as PhD student at @iiscbangalore and 17 years as faculty member at @iiserkol, I have personally not seen a SINGLE instance of caste-based differential behaviour being inflicted on a student. I have graduated 13 PhD students and supervised around 40 MS theses. #1/n
