Open letter to @FoundryServices and @colyermike Mike, @FoundryServices is the largest Bitcoin pool on earth. That is not a branding line. It is the payroll desk for a huge share of the hashrate. You are still treating the second subsidy like a side file. Every block your pool finds already mints ethereum:0x249130f5e2dd4cf278180c0df8273f3592ad1247 from Bitcoin’s own data and assigns it to the winning work. No BIP. No change to the 21 million. No extra joule. ~65% of global hashrate is already mining it. @AntPoolofficial. @f2pool. @ViaBTC. @SpiderPool_com. @luxor. And Foundry’s own blocks are in that count. The pool that passes it through to hashers wins machines. The pool that parks it loses them. Here is what you are missing. The subsidy is on a clock. Fees have never replaced it. AI hosting pays more per megawatt than mining, and listed miners are already leaving the hash. If the biggest pool in North America does not turn the second paycheck on for its contributors, you are asking them to secure a multi-trillion vault on a shrinking wage while smaller pools offer two rewards for the same work. You do not have to endorse a narrative. You have to decide whether your hashers see the coin their blocks already earned. Distribute it. Publish the payout address policy. Let the miners choose. The vault does not need another essay. It needs the largest pool to stop sitting on the invoice. ethereum:0x249130f5e2dd4cf278180c0df8273f3592ad1247 @natgmi

I have a lot of thoughts about Cinco’s article about NAT here. 💭 Many of which he isn’t going to like, but they need to be said, as his article is so far off the mark, that frankly, it makes me wonder what his intentions are with it. 🤔 I’ll likely make a video this week when I have the time to fully communicate all my feelings about it. But for now, I will say this: Cinco, has made some pretty strong (and false) statements here, that demonstrate a clear misunderstanding of NAT, and also rather surprisingly, the difference between providing hashpower to the network, and increasing its security budget. These 2 things are not the same. And this whole “put up or shut up” stuff is about as tone deaf as one could be, and I cringed hard for large periods whilst reading this article. 😬 A supporter of NAT ofc has the choice to mine Bitcoin (as does anyone), but Cinco’s strong assertion that if they don’t become a miner, they fail to prove genuine commitment to solving Bitcoin’s (very real) security budget issue, is utterly ridiculous. 🤦 It’s like saying that if you care about increasing your country’s defence budget, you can only prove it by becoming a soldier on the frontline yourself (*cringes*). Becoming a soldier increases the number of people providing security to that nation. ☑️ But it absolutely does NOT increase the budget available to pay for sufficient security. ❌ So if for example, a group of US citizens began a movement to help drive additional and sustainable revenue to the US army to ensure their country remained safe from attack, and then those same people were told that their contributions mean nothing unless they actually pick up a gun and get on the frontline, the very idea would be laughed out of the room. 😂 Cinco has clearly gotten these 2 things (network security & security budget) muddled up in his head, and I hope at some future date, ideally sooner rather than later, he is able to publicly acknowledge that fundamental error he has made here. If you are an a dedicated OG NAT advocate, you are playing an incredibly valuable role in securing Bitcoin, so please don’t allow the opinions of people who have only just began trying to understand it convince you otherwise. Mistakes such as these are inevitable for new entrants, and I’m sure we will all help support Cinco (and any other miners) should he wish to learn more, but articles such as these actually damage NAT’s mission, and Cinco’s specifically is actually pretty offensive, not to mentioning conferencing to our community. And btw, I say all of this as a Bitcoin miner (currently mining BTC + NAT with @SpiderPool_com) 🕷️
DMT-NAT says it can help Bitcoin miners. My challenge to the NAT community: Prove it. ⛏️ Become miners. ⚡ Contribute hashrate. 🛠️ Build real utility. ₿ Put NAT to work for miners. Don’t vote with posts. Vote with your hashrate. 👇 Full article

If DMT-NAT Is Really About Bitcoin’s Security Budget, Then Start Mining Bitcoin

I'm going to say something that may irritate some of my friends in the DMT-NAT community. Buy a Bitcoin miner. Seriously. Buy a Bitaxe. Buy a HammerMiner. Buy an Avalon. Buy an S21. Buy whatever makes

PlayBay — turn a game idea into something playable From @openmayhem_ai: describe a game, tell AI to build and publish it, then play it with friends. If people like it, you can earn from it. How it works: •Start with “what do you want to play?” instead of learning engines, code, assets, servers, and publishing •Idea → tell AI → play it. Ask for changes (new mechanic, map, speed, levels, multiplayer) and play the update right away •Not locked to templates — early games already cover social worlds, FPS combat, multiplayer platformers, physics, and arcade •Publish straight to PlayBay so others can find it, friends can join, progress can be saved, no server setup •Multiplayer rooms up to 32 players Earnings •Creators sell in-game items (made by you or with AI) •Players pay with Shells (100 Shells = $1) •Creators keep 85% of item sales; PlayBay takes 15% and covers processing/payout fees •Top up with card/Stripe or crypto (TNK / TAP) •Payouts: Stripe monthly, TNK/TAP hourly, from about $1, fees covered Play: playbay.games Open-source side (OpenMayhem — the peer-to-peer AI inference marketplace from the same team, so a gaming PC can serve models and earn):

You’re missing the forest for the trees. The reality is the math suggests Bitcoin is becoming unprofitable for all miners. Not just the big ones but also the small ones. . The reason is because the incentive to mine is exponentially decaying away every 4 years. All Bitcoiners are relying on Bitcoin is grow exponentially forever. Which is literally impossible. Some say fees will cover it but they miss the fact that as Bitcoin grows in value you need a growing security budget to secure a more valuable network. This means fees need to grow and at some point people will use anything else to make transactions. There’s also no evidence to suggest fees will cover anything seeing that today’s fees represent about 1% of miner revenue. No matter who mines today, this will be an issue that gets worse exponentially over time. No one, including countries will mine this at a loss forever. This idealism is not consistent with reality ethereum:0x249130f5e2dd4cf278180c0df8273f3592ad1247 as a 2nd subsidy is critical because it doesn’t exponentially decay, its actually tied to Bitcoin’s hash power via the Bits field. This means NAT will be produced by Bitcoin as long as Bitcoin continues producing blocks. There’s a reason why 60% of hash power already supports it because the alternative is to make Bitcoin infinite or tax all Bitcoin forever. Both options destroys the principals Bitcoin was built off of. Scarcity and sovereign ownership of property. Bitcoin is an ecosystem. Not everyone is going to mine, but everyone depends on its security. Eveyone has a role to play.
