First soybeans of the year are coming off for the UW BeanTeam! @badgercropguy harvesting our @WISoyCheckoff funded N rate x cover crop termination experiment planted April 22nd with a 2.2MG bean. Plots are running 94 bpa and 13.9%.

With the increase in high oleic soybeans in WI we are starting a trial to look at how do they fit into an intensified dairy cropping system. Cover crops and forages going out after corn silage and fall manure to be followed by soybean! Stay tuned!
