Leaving the "outside collaborators" setting at the default (require approval for first time contributors) actually works quite well. I've spun up a couple fully automated repositories since writing the article, and I feel confident about that approach.

Yesterday was my last day at @stedi. After 32 months (a nice, even number!) it is time for my next opportunity. Working with so many ridiculously talented engineers was an absolute honour, and I'm a better person for getting to know them, learn from them and ship amazing things together. I wore many, many hats during my time at Stedi - recently as an Engineering Team Lead I was responsible for leading a team of up to 8 outstanding engineers and together we owned the vast majority of frontend codebase and infrastructure in the company, in addition to multiple backend services across a number of AWS accounts. To say that I learned a ton would be an understatement. I'm going to cool down for a bit, but in the meantime: if you're hiring (remote!) AWS/CDK/TypeScript/React/jQuery (obviously) engineers/team leads, well, you know where to find me. My DMs are open and RTs are more than welcome. 👋

Wojciech is incredibly driven and thorough in his work. Get him while you can!
Today was my last day at @stedi. I’m really proud of what the team I worked in accomplished. We have worked across the stack, managing AWS infrastructure, writing backend and frontend code. I will remember the people, the product, and the lessons learned for a long time.

I may be a bit late to the party, but this release makes me very happy :)
We are trending in a “just do it for me” direction where we rely on SaaS services to do mundane things. @momentohq has us covered and is elevating caching with collection data types - now offering truncation, de-duplication, and fetching subsets of data!🎉 gomomento.co/3YFfsn3/

#awswishlist As a user, when I search for a term, I'd like the exact match to be at the top so that I don't have to search through the search results. #aws

Been using DynamoDB pretty much exclusively for the past 3 years and I feel like I've left a whole class of problems behind.

Tried out @momentohq for key-value caching within a Lambda: It does what it says, and does it well. Great service for caching! #serverless

#awswishlist When I request a concurrency increase for Lambda from the new default 10 to something that's below the old default 1000, auto-upgrade it and don't involve humans. I'm trying to use reserved concurrency on a fresh account, and have a support case open since 3 days.
