I headcanon that the Fangshi Guild's dissolution was the farthest thing from clean. The Ex-Turbulent Era and militant Fangshi guild members splintered off as a renegade faction that would one day become the Tiandao Council. Ji was one of those who saw to a "peaceful transition"

I understand the reasoning as to why you'd save stuff you like. I know I've done stuff like that in the past, especially with websites with dubious life expectancies. If I post something on the internet, I do it with the intent of it being shared-- preferably with my involvement
