Reposting this picture of King Harald V of Norway's yacht sailing by our house after he competed in a World Championship on Lake ONTARIO ten years ago, finishing ninth overall and second in the classic fleet -- at 79 years old. He was an extraordinary yachtsman. That same year His Majesty cemented his position as the people's King with a now famous speech on diversity. He used inter-regional transit. He was a unifying force during a domestic terror crisis. He fell in love with a 'commoner' and insisted on marrying her at the risk of losing his future crown. Just stating the facts here about the tortured dog metaphor of Dachsunds v Shepherds and the trade war destroying businesses on both sides of the world's longest undefended border that was cavalierly referred to as a playground. Dachsunds were originally bred to hunt burrowing animals, specifically badgers. Their long low body was designed to slip easily into underground tunnels and dens. Their short powerful legs acted like shovels for heavy digging in the earth. Their deep chest and prominent breastbone provided massive lung capacity for stamina and protected vital organs during underground combat. Now let's talk about their prey.
