Hi #cPenNetwork community, With HATN mining now live and our CPEN buyback-and-burn program continuing (running since the CPEN token launch and automated since July 2026), we want to share where cPen is heading next. There is a lot we want to build. Below are the priorities we are working toward: what is in development now, what we plan to build next, and our longer-term direction. 🔨 IN DEVELOPMENT NOW 🎮 Web2 Games We are developing our first Web2 game, a standalone app separate from the cPen app that we plan to promote through the cPen ecosystem. Revenue generated by the game is intended to become an additional revenue source supporting our buyback-and-burn program. This is also an experiment in expanding the cPen ecosystem beyond a single app. AI-assisted development gives our small team new ways to prototype, build and test products more efficiently. If this model works well, we hope to gradually develop more standalone apps across different categories, creating additional utility, experiences and potential revenue sources for the ecosystem. ⏭️ COMING NEXT 🛒 cPen Market We plan to evolve the current cPen Wall into cPen Market. The existing Wall experience and your Dan balance will carry forward, while the Market expands what users can discover, promote and eventually sell through the cPen ecosystem. We plan to begin with digital products and content, such as Mobile apps, books, PDFs, photos and other digital items, and gradually explore physical products over time. We currently envision two main types of listings: • Promotional / non-sale listings: use Dan to publish, such as promoting an app, service or project • Paid products: marketplace fees will apply to transactions Details about fees, seller eligibility, supported products, marketplace rules and regional availability will be announced before launch. 🔥 Dan Dan is cPen's internal platform credit. It is not a cryptocurrency and has no cash-out value. Today, Dan can be spent on Wall posts and can be earned through Burnchase. As the ecosystem grows, we plan to expand both sides of Dan: → More ways to earn Dan → More ways to use Dan Our goal is for Dan to become a useful internal credit connecting different parts of the cPen ecosystem. 🚶 Step Counter We are exploring a verified step-based feature that could reward eligible users for daily walking. Our current plan is to support Dan rewards, with the possibility of HATN rewards as well. Verification and anti-abuse measures will be part of the design so that rewards are based on eligible activity. Reward rates, eligibility requirements and availability are still being designed and will be announced later. 💬 cStory Social Features We will continue expanding cStory step by step. Comments and user-created posts are among the next features we plan to introduce, with the longer-term goal of building a more complete social experience inside cPen. 🌐 LONG-TERM DIRECTION ⛓️ cPen Mainnet Our current target is to launch the cPen testnet in early 2027 and continue network development throughout 2027. Over the longer term, our goal is to progressively build more of the cPen ecosystem on the cPen Mainnet. We have already built several of the core pieces: ✅ Token mining: live ✅ Revenue generation through the cPen platform: live ✅ Token distribution infrastructure: established ✅ CPEN buyback-and-burn: running and now automated The next stage is about building on that foundation: → More useful and enjoyable products for users → More utility across the ecosystem → More independent revenue sources → A broader revenue base supporting buyback-and-burn → Progress toward our own blockchain infrastructure We have built the foundation. INK mining successfully ended on July 30, 2026, and the cPen app has now automatically switched to HATN (Human Attention Token) mining. HATN is the implementation of the Attention-Token Economic Model (ATEM) introduced in our research paper, From Labor to Attention. ⛏️ How HATN Mining Works Users can make up to four claims per UTC day: • Claim 1 — Basic: 1.0× • Claim 2: 1.1× • Claim 3: 1.3× • Claim 4: 1.5× The Basic Claim is 5 HATN. Each additional claim rewards greater participation and attention. Referral rewards equal 10% of manually claimed HATN. Vacation-day credits, burns, and other rewards are not included in the referral calculation. 📱 Update Your App Please update the cPen app to version 1.3.22 or later to access HATN mining and ensure a smooth experience. HATN mining is currently available only through the official cPen app downloaded from: • Google Play Store • Apple App Store Please note that HATN mining is not currently available in the APK version or Web version. 🪙 What Happens Next for INK? Although INK mining has ended, the INK distribution process is only beginning: 1️⃣ A two-week grace period will allow users to complete their KYC and Liveness verification. 2️⃣ After the grace period, INK token verification will begin. 3️⃣ Once verification is completed, INK will be distributed in phases. Please complete your KYC and Liveness verification during the grace period and make sure your submitted wallet address is correct. Thank you to everyone who participated in INK mining.
