This is one of the arguments against letting one or two companies own all the intelligence (and I think most of OpenAI would agree)
They used Opus 5 to pull off the hack. It appears they had access to the loosened cyber-guardrail version of Opus. They successfully accessed the OAI internal monorepo. The question that will be asked is, if these three guys can pull this off, what can a nation state do.

So many people saying that "AI can't write" are ignoring the fact that writing is so much more than picking the words that go in the final draft.
How to decide what blogs to write in 2026.
1. Have an idea
2. Write an outline of thoughts on it
3. Get agents to do the research to see if those points are true
4. If they are true AND interesting, write the blog post

Ben Thompson's two laws of consumer tech:
1) Consumers do not want to pay for software.
2) Consumers do not care about being productive.
Meta's huge advantage is that they own the ad platform.
Forget Instinct, OpenAI has taken so long to deliver on ads that Muse could actually just win the consumer market.
There’s a rumor going around that Meta (and others) made a 10-figure offer for Instinct.
Instinct turned it down.
Now Meta has launched Muse and from how the timeline is reacting, it’ll be a big deal.

I agree with @jasonlk’s take, but my bull case is even simpler: if @linear made a Slack competitor, I would switch immediately. Same goes for Notion, Gmail, calendar, and pretty much any other productivity app I can think of. They’re just so good.
The Bull Case for Linear Being a $100BN Company:
"Linear is the clear winner.
They have built an agentic product first that allows us to build 100x more software, and that means 100x more features than ever before.
Humans cannot keep up with it, and humans still have to work with agents. If every human on your team's gonna build 500 features and 1,000 issues and you have 10 people on your team, you need a process and a system of record for managing all these issues with your agents.
We need a new system of record for it.

@HuggingFace and @PollenRobotics just released Microduck.
It is a new legged robot for $399.
It passed $1 million in sales in under SEVEN hours 🤯
The hardware packs 15 actuators, a camera, and LiDAR into a 25 cm frame.
It weighs under 800 grams and runs for about an hour on a single charge.
Out of the box, it can
> walk
> roller-skate
> pick up objects
> recover from falls
.. and so much more!
You can drive the 7 shipped policies from the first boot using a gamepad.
But the real hook is the training stack.
The software is entirely open:
→ MuJoCo simulation and PPO training
→ 50 Hz onboard policy loop
→ Browser simulator included alongside hardware
→ Full control stack available on GitHub
The mechanical and electronic design files are still proprietary.
