I couldn’t care less about whether the company gets sold, but the debate about ALPRs is certainly not over. Id bet they’re very much here to stay. Also: I’d have been happy to have participated yesterday, had Mr. Hawley seen fit to include any non-Flock, pro-ALPR voices like myself who would would have jumped at the opportunity to correct the many misstatements that went unchallenged at yesterday’s hearing, during which (for example) many regurgitated naked claims of constitutional infirmity without so much as a mention of the fact that dozens of legal challenges pushing that claim have *all* been unsuccessful in establishing even a single precedent standing for the proposition that cameras like Flock’s even implicate the Fourth Amendment.
