Today, I voted for the Assisted Dying Bill.
The Bill was narrowly defeated in the Commons. Although I am disappointed, it is also true that the Bill has shone a spotlight on how desperately we need to improve end-of-life care. It has been neglected for far too long. (1/6)

Thank you for your consideration. There were good reasons all medical bodies were against it though. It’s not obvious to me that any such bill can be made safe.
