THE STUDIO IS OPEN. 17 DAYS LEFT TO GET IN. 🔥🦆 For six years, Nonconformist Ducks did things nobody else was doing. First burns. First mutable metadata. First in collection tiers. But four collections is too much supply for any of them to matter, and a static JPEG is no longer a reason to show up. So we rebuilt the pond from the ground up. The Studio is live, the vault is live on mainnet, and the burn window closes on October 3rd. Here is exactly how it works, from the moment you light the fire to the moment your duck starts earning its keep. STEP 1 — "LA HOGUERA": CHOOSE YOUR PATH Go to the burn site, connect your wallet, and you'll see every OG and Hell duck you hold. For each one, you choose. 🔥 Path A: Burn for a Duck 2.0. Four old ducks become one new duck in a single transaction. One contract, 2,222 ducks, forever. 🔥 Path B: Burn for $NONCO. Every duck converts into tokens, and rarer ducks emit more. A common duck is 100 $NONCO. Royal Army is 150. Angels, Demons, Horseducks, Zombies and Upper Class are 200. Assembled, Decoupled and 1/1s are 300. Royalty is 500. And Gatekeepers pay 400 plus 100 for every soul they ever aspirated. The largest Gatekeeper in the collection emits 34,300 $NONCO on its own. History pays. The two paths compete for the same finite ducks. Every duck that becomes a Duck 2.0 is a duck that never becomes tokens. Whatever isn't burned is never minted. STEP 2 — CLAIM Burning credits your wallet on chain. Then you hit Claim and real $NONCO lands in your wallet. It is a standard ERC20 you fully own, and you can verify every unit on Etherscan. STEP 3 — DEPOSIT INTO THE STUDIO This is where most projects would make you pay gas on every click. We refused. You deposit your $NONCO into the Nonco Vault, a contract on Ethereum mainnet. The Studio detects your deposit on-chain, waits for confirmations, and credits your balance. Two signatures, one time. From that moment on, everything you do inside the Studio costs zero gas. Open packs, send your duck traveling, list traits on the market, apply to castings, play Duck vs Duck. Hundreds of actions, zero gas. Instant. Why we built it this way: Ethereum is the most secure place for your assets to live, and the most expensive place to play. So we split the two. Your tokens sit in a vault on mainnet, and your gameplay happens at full speed without a gas fee standing between you and every decision. You only touch the chain when you decide to. STEP 4 — WITHDRAW WHENEVER YOU WANT Want your $NONCO back in your wallet? Hit Withdraw. The Studio issues a signed voucher, you submit it, and the vault releases your tokens directly to you. Each voucher is tied to your wallet, used once, and expires if you don't use it, in which case your balance is restored automatically. Deposit once, play freely, pull out when you choose. That's the deal. WHAT'S INSIDE THE STUDIO 🎨 Your duck is a character, not a picture. Every duck has a character sheet: its look, trait by trait, a name you choose, a story you write, badges it earns, and the age of your holding. When you sell a duck, the traits, name and story go with it. The badges and the history stay with you. Merit isn't for sale. 📦 Packs. Three tiers. Splash , Golden and Radioactive. Every pack delivers 4 traits with published odds, and the rarest traits only exist at the top. Pull something legendary and it's yours to wear or to sell. 🧳 Travel. Scarce traits have a real price because they are genuinely scarce. 🎬 Casting. Every month we produce an episode of the Nonconformist Ducks video series, and your duck can audition. Selection reads the character you built: the look, the story, the coherence between them. Cast ducks get paid. Your duck stops being an avatar and starts having a career. ⚔️ Duck vs Duck. One-on-one games wagered in $NONCO. Entertainment the community generates for itself. 🎁 The Monthly Giveaway. One entry per published duck. More ducks built, more chances. The draw is commit-reveal: the hash is published when the round opens and the seed is revealed at the draw, so nobody can pick the winner. Not even us. THE TOKENOMICS: WHY ACTIVITY IS EVERYTHING Read this part twice. 1. Supply only goes down. The only way to get $NONCO is to burn or to buy it from someone who has it. 2. Every spend burns. Every $NONCO spent in the Studio, on packs, trips, castings and fees, splits: 10% is burned permanently and the rest goes to the project. The more the pond is used, the smaller the supply gets. 3. Prices are fixed in tokens, not dollars. A pack costs the same number of $NONCO today and in three years. With supply shrinking and prices fixed, every new player has to source tokens from a market that has fewer of them every month. The token's value is driven by usage, not speculation. 4. The Pond Fund pays the community, in ETH. Every trade of ducks and traits generates royalties in ETH. Those royalties feed the Pond Fund, and the Pond Fund pays the ducks cast in the video series and the monthly giveaway pot. Rewards are paid in ETH, never in $NONCO, so nothing we distribute adds sell pressure to the token. Put those four together and you get the flywheel: More holders build → more trading → bigger Pond Fund → bigger casting payouts and bigger giveaways → more reasons to build → more $NONCO spent and burned → scarcer token. The series, the giveaways and every reward in this ecosystem grow with adoption. They are not fixed promises. They are the direct result of how many of us show up and play.
